Jezzelyn got her new wig yesterday and I’m just in love with the color on her. It’s the default Little Monica Irin wig. When I saw the pictures I thought that it looked nice and I didn’t have a nice red wine color for Jezz yet, but then in person it’s AMAZING. The fibres are so soft and the wig cap is skin tone so there’s no likelihood of cap staining @~@ ♡♡♡
I think I spend a lot of time thinking about dolls. Almost all my tabs open right now are doll-related. Many of them are Yahoo!Japan auction links that I refresh every few days to look at custom painted dolls.
Pretty sure this sums up how most Doll Enthusiasts get after a certain point xD
My Summer and Spring sprites got home today! They’re so cute~ I just need to think of names for them now -sob-
I originally wanted to make the Bana (on the right) a boy and the Choco (on the left) a girl, but looking at them more now I kind of want to make them both girls and just have the Bana be a little bit more tomboyish. Kind of want to swap their seasons too…but it doesn’t work with their skin tones…and could just be the outfits they have on lol~ We’ll see, I need to keep playing with them.
Octavio doesn’t seem to mind them here either :’)

Just a few of my favorites from a shoot I did the other day with Jezz. She’s incredibly photogenic, and I’m really shocking myself with how much I adore this girl. Andreja’s paint work really brings this girl to life, and I couldn’t be more happy~
So I found that BJDtextconfessions post rather hilarious. SO I am posting my Juri ‘11, because I think MINE is adorable. When you see them in pictures you don’t get that full effect of them in person. In person they’re absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t change his face ever~ 8’D It has so much character and is exactly what I had in mind for him! Though I will admit, my boy is a modified Juri head. I thought the lower lip was too large, so I thinned it out and rounded it instead of leaving it square-ish. :)
Now if FL would just hurry up and re-release the c-line bodies again :<

Poor Garrett had to go on a girl body since I’m still waiting for Fairyland to re-release those damn c-line bodies >_O He’s supposed to be a shorty.
Garrett’s look is pretty set, Jezz is my wig/clothing swapper. The only thing I plan to be consistent with her is her faceup and her eyes. :)

I sent one of my favorite dolls to get repainted and elf ears sculpted onto her. This artist had relatively good feedback and very pretty work from what I could do.
So I ship out my doll and the tracking doesn’t update for a week.
So here I am getting all worried she may be lost somewhere, so I e-mail the girl. It takes her a WEEK to reply. And she conveniently waits till the DAY OF my doll arriving to reply to me. So here’s two weeks of me knowing absolutely NOTHING. E-mailing the girl several times asking for some kind of update. So all I get is this e-mail saying she’s arrived and she should be done by Wednesday.
Sooo the Wednesday goes by. Nothing. Friday. Nothing. I send her an e-mail asking what’s up.No reply.(surprise surprise) IT GETS DOWN TO SUNDAY. I send her ANOTHER e-mail saying if she does not reply by this upcoming Wednesday (which is a week AFTER she originally told me she’d be done.) I was starting a paging thread on DoA.
So I get an e-mail Wednesday night. “Sorry I have been sick, so I’ll have pictures of her tomorrow.”
Okay so she’s finally e-mailing me on her own. GET AN E-MAIL YESTERDAY. “Sorry, got called into work, wont have pictures till tomorrow.”
I GET AN E-MAIL TODAY. “Here is a picture, but it’s raining, so it’s not very good and doesn’t do ‘justice’ to my work.”
I open the picture.
THERE ARE NO FUCKING ELF EARS, SHE HAS FRECKLES, AND NO BLUE. IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I DIDN’T ASK FOR.
I am so mad right now…. So. Fucking. Mad.
I e-mailed her back and told her it is not what I asked for. RESENT the form, BOLDING all the parts that were NOT there. I told her I dont even know if I want to bother with her redoing it because her communication was so poor I am just overall disappointed. If anything this whole fucking thing should be FREE. That’s if she redoes it.
I’m just so pissed off right now. Worst. Commission. Ever.
